Three Little Words

Here I am,
Writing poems about you,
Words I'd love to share,
But it's something I can't do.

Here I am,
Dreaming of us together,
Our hands held tight,
United forever.

Here I am,
Shy and pitiful,
Afraid to tell you,
You're perfectly beautiful.

Here I am,
Desperate for your love,
But yet, I'm sitting here doing nothing,
Like it's gonna drop from above.

Here I am,
Staring at the birds,
And thinking how to say,
Just three little words.
