Once there was a girl
Who seemed to be stuck
Between nowhere
And a sad sort of hell
She cried tears of blood
That no one understood
And was persecuted
For what she wore on her skin
She wore each battle scar
With a sense of self-pride
Knowing that she had made it
One more day
Although everyone
Just pointed
Watching her cry
Humanity never understood
What they did to this beautiful angel
For they all just hurt her
And day after day
Her badges multiplied
As her soul started to give way
And her hope started to slowly slip
Finally one day
She accepted her fate
Her unwelcome existence
And curled up
Watching the Autumn leaves fade
