I know that it is over

I walked through the night
Rain pouring down upon me
Sliding down my cheek
Just like the tears falling from my eyes

A chill runs up my spine
As the cold wind blows my hair
The street lights turn off
I feel the darkness in the air

I look up into the sky
There are no stars tonight
It seems so much emptier now
Just like my broken heart

I'm starting to feel the cold
As i fall upon my knees
Goosebumps cover my arms
And my tears are mixed with screams

Hopeless and alone
All i want is to feel whole
My chest it starts to hurt
And I'm fading in and out

My body starts to tremble
My hearts to weak to beat
I know that it is over now
As i lay my head upon concrete
