Dandelions

by Breanna Schara   Feb 19, 2007

A dandelion blowing in the sway of the wind
Frill and fragile it stands
It can bring a single smile to any child’s face
A symbol for beauty and grace
Careless and free
Full of innocence
Calm and sweet
Simple, but yet not dull
Energy and happiness
All flowing through the stem
Like a warm day, or happy memory
Its radiant petals glow under
The warmth of the sun
