Where Do You Want To Go?

by Peter DeJesse   Feb 19, 2007

What would you like to see,
if given the chance to travel
The mystery of the Orient
May be yours to unravel

Driving the roads of Rome
Sampling cuisine as you go
Floating on the canals of Venice
Seeing lava from Mount Etna flow

Horseback rides through Ireland
Staying at castles along the way
Beautiful sunrise over the meadows
Welcoming another day

Sights of Europe are endless
There is so much to see and do
Don't forget about the beauty
and majesty the USA has too

The great Mount Rushmore
Our history carved in stone
Alaska's frozen wilderness
Just don't go it alone

Giant Redwood trees
The biggest of them all
They are nature's gift to us
Guaranteed to enthrall

The Grand Canyon in Colorado
Will take your breath away
To experience all of its splendor
Will take you more than a day

Try the Appalachian Trail
If you are more adventurous
Runs from Georgia to Maine
Some parts can be treacherous

If you just want to drive
There is always Route 66
Goes from Chicago to LA
Where you can get your "kicks"

These are just a few things
There are to do and see
The United States is beautiful
From sea to shining sea
