One of those day

by michael   Feb 19, 2007

You don't consider my existence.
I try hard to be in your conscience,
Yet its only in vain
coupled with pain.

I try to follow your every pace,
Hoping that if only that nice face,
Will truly give its heart to me
So as to make all the proud see.

Yet i do wonder tirelessly,
If you consider me seriously
Because no matter how hard I try,
From my presence you fly.

You say my name in my absence,
And do shun me in your presence.
You love me when I am away
Yet bid me goodbye when I am there.

Only if I can have you in my life,
Then I will strive to make you a better wife
But the more I get close to your heart
You close your heart so as to never chart.

If you could only know
That to you I bow,
Maybe you will give me the chance,
To prove myself even once.
