I was a lonely cloudy day
And my sorry world was cold and grey

I never understood why in my life I tried

All those dead ends I found myself in
There was no path for me to begin
Lost and confused with no hope to go on
I thought that my chances were somehow all gone.
Then, suddenly without warning
Sunshine streamed through my clouds one morning
My world burst into a bloom of colors and light
And for once in my life everything felt right.
It was like I was waiting all this time
I didn't realize it would be for the sunshine
Now my whole life I can understand
But only while the sunlight is at hand.
