Living is all he does

The pain has burnt away all he feels
His fears have come to light
He prays each day that his wound heals
As he lives to continue to fight

He has loved and lost
His heart begins to bleed
He knew not what it cost
For true love is what he needs

Though his vision is blurred
By the tears he had cried
And his words were never heard
He wish he had died

Yet now his feelings are all gone
He has none left to spare
His feelings all withdrawn
Now he does not care

He is only now a shell
Of the human he once was
He has been through hell
Living now is all he does
