Unspoken

by marilyn marti   Feb 20, 2007

Thorns rip the sides of every dream
the lies were dripping from her seams
Morning could not patronize
A shadow standing in disguise
Could not bring shelter from his lips
Poisoned was his deadly kiss
A night so dark you cannot see
all the beauty of the sea
Demons came and washed her hope
she stumbled down a steady slope
Words could never, will ever say
the way she feels for him everyday..
