Only in a photograph

by Christina   Feb 20, 2007

Only in a photograph is when time stands still, but in a person is the powerful will. The will to keep the smiles in that photograph on at all times, with happiness and rhymes. A photograph says a thousand words and not all are good, for there is a girl that is misunderstood. Only a photograph can keep a smile, for me its been a while. With someone who is crying inside and smiling on the outside, you can't see what they hide. Look into the eyes in a photograph and what do you see? A man and a woman happy as can be. Or so it seems but the woman has a story to tell because she has been through hell. But you would never know that from looking at her face, with a wide smile and a warm embrace.
Only a photograph can hide the pain, of her silently going insane. When know one looks she lets her tears flow, she just wants to go. She is tired of this lie but all she does is sit and cry. She decides she wants to end her life so she turns to the knife. Only a photograph made everyone not see, I should know because that woman is me.
