Till Death Do Us Part [Tanka]

by Tammie   Feb 21, 2007

Love expressed deeply
On a special occasion
Of such devotion
Promising a partnership
As said; 'Till death do us part.'

------------------------------------------------------

Tanka is a classic form of Japanese poetry related to the haiku with five unrhymed lines of five, seven, five, seven, and seven syllables. (5, 7, 5, 7, 7)

    Hmm...
    It's weird.
50% of people in the US break that promise.
    They get divorced.

So I liked how you wrote a poem about it
And bolded the fact that once you make a promise, you keep it.

    5/5 :]
