Lonely Girl

by ephemera   Feb 21, 2007

The clouds have moved in
All around me is grey,
Mind clouded in confusion
Tese memories falling like rain.
They surround me with happiness
But torrents of you forever will fall,
Drowning me in my sorrow
Remembering days when sunlight illumined all.

If I never loved you
I would be no worse off than I am,
I would still be mourning a love
That I could never have.
I am the lonely girl who still cries at night
Who still prays our love won't go cold,
In dreams you are the one who still saves me
In dreams it is your hand I still hold.
