You came into my life when i was nine
You came into a family all torn apart
but for some reason you are the reason we are back together
I didn't know what it was going to be like
I had my doubts
I had never had a dad before
I was scared.
But then I saw how happy mommy was so i gave you a chance
you accepted me as your daughter and you became my dad...in my heart, mind, and soul
You have done more for me in seven years then anyone has in my lifetime
Daddy, I love you and apperciate you for what you have done for me
I know that i am not perfect and sometimes you yell but you are my hero and i love you.

this is dedicated to my step-dad because he is my dad. and he came into a family that already existed and accepted the kids as his own. that is not a dad its a father. cause fathers teach and accept and make life better. dads are good too but fathers are better.
