We've been friends for so many years
you help take away all of my fears
We can talk about anything with one another
You can even entertain my little brother
We give each other hugs everyday
but they're just friendly ones, romantic ones-no way!

I try to let you know I wanna be more than friends
and that my love for you will never end
but you never seem to notice all my leads
you just think that he's what I need

I wanna be more than friends with you
well, thats all I ever wanted to do,
So I hope that me making the first move
will get you in the groove
to tell me that you like me too
and in the end it will just be me and you
