Children And Broken Hearts

Children and broken hearts

Walking around in my head,
Are memories of you,
They walk around,
Like children,
When they first learn,
They never stop,
Little muddy footprints,
Left behind,
Just like scars,
You left behind
When you said goodbye,
Never to be forgotten,
They cant be wiped away,
You're voice i remember,
Like A mother,
Remembers her child's first word,
Tears fill her eyes in happiness,
As to where tears fill my eyes,
With sadness and strife,
You're name will always be remembered,
Like when a child's name is picked,
It has meaning,
Like your's does to me,
A meaning of love,
Children and heartbreak,
Hold many things in common,
But i remember,
Scraped knees were better,
Than a broken heart.
