Here I Stand

by Erika   Feb 22, 2007

The arid hot plains of Africa,
with a giraffe standing tall.
Hoofs of brown stand in
the tall Savannah grass.
Wobbly brown and yellow legs
support an emancipated body.
Tail whisks and mane flows.
Floppy ears hear zebras calling yonder
and brown furry horns shoot up wards.
Chase after the rabbits
but they hide in their burrows.
What a curse it seems to be tall.
