The definition of me!

Look at me and tell me what you see,
Cause when i see me i see pain,
I see a girl beaten by a crush,
A girl who feels alone in the world,
Who has a broken soul,
And will never be ok....

Do you see it?... Not yet huh, maybe more information will help,
A little girl who feels empty and cold,
Like she has been frozen in time,
trying to reach out to a thoughtful soul,
Aware that no one will save me,
Because I've been here for years.

You have to see it now?... Still don't,
Maybe the history of my tears will help,
My tears are my true friends,
They keep me company when i feel alone,
They come out when I feel hurt,
They chase away my sorrow and fear.

Still don't see it huh?
How about my scars, do you know where they come from?
They come from my inner child,
Breaking free of the suffering within,
She tells me the story of my mom and dad,
How they separated and had me choose who i loved more,
These stories are when my scars emerge from within.

Still see nothing, well I'm not surprised,
When you see me I"m just another face in the crowd,
You must not know what I've been through,
I'm a girl who lives in a fairytale fantasy,
Where everything ends with a happy ending,
Even though I'm suffering, i still wait,
I've been waiting for years now ans nothing for me,
I guess my suffering will never end,
Its a part of me till the very end....
