Clandestine Pleasures

Clandestine Pleasures

*in perspective of a friend, respectively*

We held each other like lovers...
And i found my mind saying "here i am again."
In someone else's arms, when does it end?
What more could this feeling do to me?
When will Love be finished with me?

We held each other like lovers...
Hiding disgrace in the cushion covers
Satisfying long awaited dirty pleasures
this which is only emotions unmeasured.

And while you were holding me
I could hear his voice in my head
whispering dangerously "what about me?"

"Did you come..." says his voice again
"together every time with him?
When you felt his body harden...
Did he damage your sacred garden?
Was he dark enough to see your light?
Did you do it at the same time of night?
Did you brush your teeth before you kissed?
Could you still feel the poison on your lips?
Did he bring you to the edge, drive you wild?
Or was he only half as good as me, just mild?
One last thing... do you miss the smell of me?
Because the scent still shrouds your sheets..."

Hovering in the back of my mind like a ghost
a ghost more real and tangible than any other
were your words...your cruel accusing questions
that already knew the answers before ever asked.
[Him] "I know so many times i made you cry,
I know i broke you and made you want to die
But tell me, did he ever made you feel alive?
Did he take your soul out in the wild night?
Did he ever take you to that beach...and set you free?

We held each other like lovers...
in that moment, there was no where else we belonged
Yet he can make something so right feel so wrong...
All i heard was his name playing over in the dark song
We collided flesh in pleasure, of lust, of clandestine
always hearing his voice in my head, as guilty as mine
Threatening "did you come...i know what you've done..."

...do you miss the smell of me...
...because i still stain your sheets...
