Saving him

You don't look at me the same way
you did last month,
the way that made me feel
like i was the only one.
Now in your eyes i can't see
through to your soul,
because the lies and deceit,drugs an dpain
left only an empty hole.
I look at you and i cry inside
for the boy that once completed me
He's fallen in darkness
and i was too late to save him, i couldn't see.
Is it my fault that i loved him too much?
well it wasn't enough..
Not enough to keep him free,
he's been empowered by hate, in his heart no love
i want to capture his attention
and pull him to me once more
take away the evil, hatred, drugs, and pain
open up the door.
