This body is my canvas, my own masterpiece
Its blankness oh so cold must be glorified
Molded to my own choice of ways
Casting a solemn glow on all who behold
Creating something that can truly be spectacular
And leave a thought of awe in the mind of all
A canvas of beauty yet unmeasurable misery
Entwined within the confusion may lie a message
That only those of true heart may ever see
Leaving mysteries lost in my own pale skin
A canvas truly unlike any other made just my way
A canvas to be remembered not for its pain
But of all its beauty that lies hidden deep away
Away inside the ink of all these permanent memories
Memories I truly wish to never fade away
Or slip silently from my heart and mind
So through all this pain I'll lock them deep inside
Deep inside the beauty of my own body
And create my masterpiece for all to see
A masterpiece that will always remind me
Of all I have and of the times I was truly happy
