Wow for such a short poem this piece was filled with beauty. I have to admit when I first read the title I wasn’t sure if I’d like it or not, something about the word hoosier just kind of puts me in a weird frame of mind. But I admit this poem was much better than I expected. I am in the exact same boat as you. Poems and Quotes is my home and my playground and I shall frolic here as long as I possibly can. I think that my favourite part was the last two lines they were so beautifully written and showed such passion. Nice work. The only thing that I would change is to make sure that all of your I’s are capitalized, and I would put a period at the very end of the poem just for some closure. But besides that nice work.
