Mellows poem

My heart has been faithful
with you from the start.
yet my head has been
stuck up in the clouds.

oh, it tells me your no
good for me and your
gonna break my heart
yet once again! that
i can do so much better
than you in the end.

but my heart thinks differently.
it tells me your the one, to spend
my life with. forever in each others arms.

boy i know we have our differences,
and we've broken each others hearts
more than twice. and
I'm risking my heart being broken again.
but this is what you do when your
young and in love, and having so much
trust in someone else who has so
much love for you.

you risk it all just to know what
love is..
we risk it for all the pleasure and passion.
even though we know that in the end
their is only sorrow and pain.

boy listen to me,
please don't hurt me.
i love you more than
you will ever know.
