Hurt With Nowhere To Go

You're broken inside,
And there will be a day,
When everything will crash,
All you want is to have a say.

A say in how life should be,
You want everything better,
But have no where to go,
So you sit and write this letter.

All I want is understanding,
Someone to be there,
Why is this happening,
All I have is nowhere.

There is one thing I have,
The one thing that gives me a stand,
This being what others misread,
Which is the pen in my hand.

The only thing to turn to,
Keeps the tears away,
It may not make me smile,
But it keeps me above bay.
