I spread my wings so soft and white
I gaze at the world still in night
I leap from my cloud and soar
I am and angel but I want more
I fly across the land and see
All the people down below me
I watch them in their happy lives
And wonder how they all survive
With all the hardships these humans endure
They must be very strong for sure
For if they weren’t they would all perish
Of all the people I dearly cherish
I am an angel in the sky
I look at these people and wonder why
They scurry about with so much hurry
That their lives become so blurry
I am an angel its true
I soar in the sky and watch over you
You can not see me in the sky
I know you all wonder why
It is best that I am unseen
For if I fall I will be unclean
You all will live your lives
Till the end when on a chariot drives
The keeper of this world comes
Booming with the sound of drums
And a light in the eastern sky
Then no one will have to ask why
