Hollow Inside

by Rebecca   Feb 23, 2007

Sitting on a lifeless bench,
Prejudice, hate and jealousy have taken over.
Her deadpan face reveals the hollowness inside,
Hate, greed and envy frozen over.

Inside it is the same concentrated lust for more,
But more of what?
Animosity? Rage? Greed?
She is already filled up with more than enough evil than she can take.
But still, she is completely hollow inside.

Feeling empty, her jaded eyes are iced over with wrath,
The air she breathes in is stale with vacant emotions.
Happiness and love have no place in her heart,
The pain of her hope dying lost the battle long ago.

Her will to fight back is diluted by fear,
Her dreams are tortured by desolation.
She is a warrior of Hate; a mindless machine.
Her bitter-sweet love for it makes her a slave of Evil,
With only her hollow soul to keep her flame burning.
