Lost Dream

by xoxShorteexox   Feb 24, 2007

As the moon raised,
and the moonlight consumed the valley,
their hearts beated so fast,
as they danced together,
next to the river,
their smiles,
filled with happiness.
As all the sounds of the forest,
we're their music,
for a dance that lasted,
as they held each other close,
and kissed each other's lips,
so soft yet so sweet.
As they sat under an old oak,
watching the sunrise,
slowly over the trees,
a summer breeze moving the trees,
in perfect harmony,
they move in a soft tune,
and the bird sang to the morning sky.
As she slowly opens her eyes,
to find it was only a memory,
he's no where to be found,
he's just a lost dream,
maybe waiting to be found once more,
and maybe he was only,
meant to be a lost dream...
