The way you speak

by Leah   Feb 24, 2007

The way you laugh,
The way you speak
It makes my knees,
Feel so weak.

The way you reply,
Without just a yes,
Or a no
The way you press
Just 'cause you wanna know.

The way your lips move,
When you're talking to me,
The way you write,
When I'm to far away to see.

The way you feel,
When you touch my hand,
The way you send chills up my spine,
When you whisper in my ear.

All the signs direct
Straight to you
All the songs,
Make me think it's true.

So, I was hoping
That you and I
Would be something
Before I seem to die.

'Cause without you
my heart doesn't feel right
without you here,
my throat feels tight.

It's hard to speak,
When I know I won't see you
For longer than just a week.

It's hard for me to think,
When I realize,
I may never see you again.

I feel like there's a hole in my heart,
Where you belong.
I feel like I need to listen
To all your favorite songs.

I wish I could talk to you,
Like I used to in elementary school.
But I see know,
That your gone.
And more than likely,
Your never going to hear
My favorite song.
