On This Journey I Call Reality…

When something doesn’t go my way
I just want to run away
When I don’t understand
And no one’s here to lend a hand

I just jump onto my bed
And hug my teddy bear instead
Pretending nothing’s wrong
I’m alone and don’t belong

Hiding inside my mind
Trying to leave this cruel world behind
Imagining that everything’s perfect
Unlike my life that’s wreaked

But I can’t live inside my dreams
‘Cause no matter how real it seems
It’s unreal and fake
And I must awake

From reality I can’t hide
Not even from the inside
I have to face my fears
Without any tears
