Forgetting Memories of You

I cant believe you left me for her,
Everyone says I should just get over you.
But its so hard to forget everything we were,
Its hard to forget our love that I thought was so true.
But it turned out it was just one big lie,
It was just another love that broke my heart.
Just another thing that made me cry,
Another thing that tore my world apart.
Even after all this pain you put me through,
I hate to admit it but I still love you.
But I'm gonna do my best to forget all the memories of you,
I'm gonna forget that look in your eyes,
And the way you held me too.
I'm gonna forget all the times you made me laugh so hard I cried,
The first time you held my hand,
And the first time you kissed me when I got so nervous and turned around and ran.
I'm gonna forget the way you loved me,
And how I always thought we were meant to be.
I guess all these memories of us mean nothing to you,
To you all the love we had wasn't one bit true.
So I guess I'm just gonna forget everything about you,
How I'm going to do it?
I have no clue.
Even though its killing me,I'm gonna say good-bye,
I guess its time I should,
And this time its good-bye for good.
