The Mind of a Thousand Fallen

The Mind of a Thousand Fallen

Searching the Battlefield trying to relive what was said,

Trying to understand the knowledge of a thousand dead.

Here I stand beside myself at the sight that lay before me,

Bodies laying twisted, broken in what seems like an endless sea.

It shows that everyone walks and everyone dies,

Some people walk this world without ever opening their eyes.

Lost in a endless battle of their own,

Waking up one morning to finally notice how much they've grown.

They soon find out that years have been lost,

So they change their ways to try and make up time that was lost.

Now they are trying to be to much like you,

In doing so they lose the one thing that once stood true.

After the lights go out they sit and cry,

Wishing they remembered what it was like to be alive.
