My Daddy

Hes been there for me since the day I was born,
He knows everything about my childhood,
Hes done everything a good parent should.
He was there by my side the first time i crawled,
The first time I talked,
The first time I walked.
Hes been there for me when I got all those scraped knees,
And all the times I got stung by those nasty bees.
He was there when I first learned learned to ride a bike,
He taught me the difference between wrong and right.
Hes the one that taught me to play basketball,
He was there to help me up when I had a bad fall.
He was there all the times I was lying sick in bed,
He helps keep me sheltered,clothed,and fed.
He was there when I first learned how to swim,
I honestly don't know what'd I do without him.
Hes my hero,the one I look up to,
If he wasn't my dad,I have no clue what'd I do.
Hes helped me become who I am today,
He holds a special place in my heart that will always stay.
Hes my favorite person and always will be,
He means the world to me,
Hes my daddy!
