Drifting

by Twisted Heart   Feb 25, 2007

As the sun reflects upon the snow
I find my mind is drifting
Like the blanket of white lace
Upon the ground its shifting.

The swirling of the flakes in white
Tend to the mind of dancing
Tiny fairies lending flight
With crystals they're romancing.

Slivered snow dust in the eyes
Reflecting back to you
A whimsy tune of given light
From specks in angel hues.

From windowpane, I watch in awe
As Nature gathers round
The tiny fairies as they draw
White petal on the ground
