i told you to come over
10 o'clock sharp
to come out to my garage
you called and got no answer
so you hurried right over
you opened the door
to be over whelmed
you smelt carbon monoxide
and you started to cry
years later you say to someone
if i told you i loved you what would you do?
they replied i wouldn't believe you
then you said if i told you i needed you what would you do?
the person replied only in your dreams you need me
so then you said.. If i told you I'd die for you.. would you care?
with tears in your eyes waiting for an answer
the person said I'd have to see it to believe it
but i highly doubt I'd care
the next morning the person went down the stairs
to see your body hanging
with tears in their eyes they whispered...
"If only i told you that i did care... more than you can imagine."
