Just like in a movie, men depart for war
to help citizens heal sin's harmful sore

should you decide to go, a weapon and uniform is set for you
can you stand and watch the devil stalk by, followed by his crew

your training is in a good book, which has never lost
in it are battle plans, salvation, all that war will cost

so gird yourself, load your weapon fast
for with the devil, there's no warning blast

your commander, the best in the field
is our Saviour, heaven's own shield

fearless, like a Sheppard he leads his flock
against him evil has nothing, except a mock

victory is assured, the devil is all talk
after all is over, Hell's straits will he walk
