a lingering feeling
weighing down upon my heart
like a dagger
only much more painful
depressing music playing
the rooms a little darker
I'm screaming in my head
as i write these words
i begin to wonder
do only i feel this way
do only i feel this heavy pain
the way i feel all the time
i begin to wonder if it's worth it
when i wake up and feel the pain again
i start to question myself
but i still get up to see the day.
the music's getting louder
the screaming unbearable now.
it's so hard to resist it all
as i write word after word.
