Saturated

by mesolithic   Feb 26, 2007

Slump down and get
saturated by the fat
relaxing in the air,
and in our lungs.
laughing as it sticks
our minds shut,
and disappears.

one foot through the portal
to a fat-free world
where the sirens shout,
telling us to watch out
for sugars
that eat our lies
which we feed on.

sport hides away,
embarrassed,
with no energy
and nothing to gain...

stick thin we return,
our clothes collapse.
we moan.
we lie to ourselves,
and the sugars return.

back to reality
and the fat returns.

    Thank you for your comment.
May i say, this is really good.
It's not nessecarily personal, or sentimental, it's about today, and todays life. And i love the metaphors and truth in this. Really Like It.

    Thanks again
