Her life was in shatters
She thought that her future no longer mattered
Grades were getting lower
Problem getting higher
Time started to move slower
She said if she'd die no on would cry for her
Except for one
Her only one
The only one who held her heart's key
The one with whom she had a promise to keep
A promise to stay forever
Promise sealed with a cut in the wrist
Promise that kept her from finding peace
The very promise that haunts her in her sleep
(This sort of explains my other poem called secrets of a suicide attempt. Check it out!)
