Battles We Fight

We all are warriors
We all fight everyday
The choices we make
The decisions me make
These are our battles
And they never leave
We are always at war
Sometimes with others
But mostly with ourselves
And the hardest battles
That we will ever fight
Are those that are
Fought on the inside
The ones that are silent
That nobody sees
The ones that are painful
But must be fought
Those will never ebb
They are constant
But such is life
