It's All Worthwhile.

by Jenni Marie   Feb 26, 2007

Much preparation and planning
There's so much to do
Wrapping gifts until the early hours
Two rolls of paper we went through.

Trying to get her to bed early
Sleeping until the morning light
Hoping she has sweet dreams
Knowing tomorrow will be so bright.

The morning arrives
The 25th February 2007
Only got a few hours sleep
She was up way before eleven.

She entered the room
Glancing around in joy
When we pulled out the camera
She acted all coy.

Beginning to unwrap her gifts
A smile on her face
Deep in my heart
This girl has a special place.

Today was when she was four
All day long on her face she had a smile
Even though there was so much to do
The smile on her face made it all worthwhile.

**My sister was four yesterday.**

Oh this was a wonderful poem!

well done in painting a picture on how a great birthday is, building up to it too.
