When he got up that morning And went about his day. His mind was so free and clear, But little did he know His life would end tonight. When he headed out of the house, And said goodbye to the family His very last words to them. For little did he know His life would end tonight. He was enjoying the party Not a care in the world No thoughts of tomorrow. Because little did he know His life would end tonight. He got into the car, With ease and without fear. He had no reason to worry. But little did he know His life would end tonight. The car whipped and swerved, Trying to avoid police cars. His heart started to pound. But little did he know His life would end tonight. Into a tall, brick building The car he was in crashed, And burst into large flames. I pray he felt no pain Because his life ended that night.
