HIDDEN PIECES

by Rebecca   Feb 26, 2007

Laying in a meadow,
The blue haze above her is littered with sunlight.
The breeze blows the flowers around her,
Creating a sound from Heaven, too delicate for her ears.

A smile forming on her lips,
Her face holds something with great content.
But looking deep in her pale blue eyes,
Something evil, something hidden lingers, embedded in her mind.

How can someone so evil, look so innocent?
Something gray and shaded, but fragile lives inside her.
Her soul is made of metal, with pieces of hate, evil and cruelty glued together,
But add too much, and her soul with corrode into jagged pieces.

Being shielded by hate makes her soul invisible to love,
And invincible to happiness.
Hidden jagged pieces of love are conquered by hate,
Failing to cut its way through.

Looking into the face of innocence and the eyes of evil,
The hidden pieces are the acid burning inside her.
The consequence of being so cruel and evil,
Is having to hide away her happiness and love for hate.
