Shadows of memories
Bleak and subtle
scars bracing tears
for pain is well known
finding no comfort
in end nor joy in death
emotionally broken
yet still trying to repair
crying, crying, crying
tears of red mixed with
dreams of black
running for fear
running from life
searching for cause
but finding nothing
but shadows of memories
