When she walks through the halls
why are you always smiling?
when you fail your history tests
why are you always so sad?
when you loose a wrestling match
why is it that you cry?
when your friends spill your drinks
why do you get so very angry?
these are my whys

these are my why nots
you never smile when we kiss long into the night
and you never get sad when i don't call you
you never cry when we break up or if you hurt me
and you never get angry when i treat you badly

so why is it that you say we are dating
and why do we even hang out
you don't care enough to make this work
and i doubt you ever will

So why do i want your touch at night
and why to i wait for your calls
why do i think about you long into the night
and then let you ruin my days
