Mama said there'd be days like this,
when getting out of bed,
seems impossible.
And the warmth of someone not being next to you,
seems like an endless pain.
Mama said,
there might always be that ache in my heart,
but someday I will find myself once again,
and it's his loss.
Mama said the flowers will bloom again one day,
and not to worry,
because everything will work out for the best.
Mama said alot of things,
but one thing that stuck with me,
though thick and thin,
The one thing I hear my inner voice say,
everynight before I fall fast asleep,
Mama may said alot of things,
But Mama always said she'd be there,
And out of everyone,
Mama was the only one to prove it.
