Fear

It consumes everyone
Whether they admit to it or not.
It has destroyed the toughest warrior
No matter how hard he may have fought.

Most children fear the darkness,
But this is easily overcome.
Other fears stay with you
Past the days when you were young.

There are some fears that will haunt you,
Like the fear of eternity alone.
It can keep you from other people
Make you a prisoner in your own home.

If you let your fear run your life,
Your chance to be happy is your sacrafice.
