The girl walked down the road,
With her tear stained face.
Trying to picture someone in her head,
But no one could take his place.
He hurt her so very bad,
By telling her the words she dread.
He told her that it was over,
That their once flaming love was now dead.
She took the news so hard,
Almost impossible to bear.
She had never wanted to be single,
She had always wanted him there.
Maybe if he came to her house,
Or even picked up the phone.
She might still be here,
And her mom wouldn't be so alone.
But he didn't,
He just went through the day.
Not knowing that in her heart,
The knife would always stay.
When he went to school the next morning,
She was no where to be found.
He asked her best Friend,
But even she hadn't seen her around.
He went through the rest,
Of the day very distraught.
Until finally he called,
But he was to scared to talk.
She didn't answer,
Her sister picked up instead.
He choked back the tears,
When she said "she's dead."
He threw the phone against the wall,
He fell to his knees and cry ed.
He had never meant to hurt her,
Everything he had said to her was a lie.
He did love her,
He never wanted it to end.
He wanted to be there,
Until the very end.
But the end came to soon,
And he wasn't there.
She had died,
Not thinking he would really care.
