then I guess I'm fine,
even if it means
you have to hit me one more time.

You continue tease me,
w/ your gentle touch.
Boldly showing your true colors,
marking my face w/ a heavy punch.

Are you happy?
I'm asking you, are you happy?

I can't feel the bruises that are planted so deep.
As I lay, I pray that I don't wake from my sleep.
Numb emotionally but physically all I can feel,
are your tormenting strikes as I weakly kneel.

The dull flavor of blood mixed w/ tears
runs down my mangled face.
I savor the flavor of it,
because its the only thing I can taste.

Tell me you're happy.
Please tell me I've made you happy.

Looking for pieces of reality that have been scattered.
Crawling to you broken, bruised and battered.
You stand over me as I freely bleed.
Say you're happy cause thats all I need.

The pain is slowly fading.
I'm dreadfully pale.
Its getting hard to breath.
Dying and hoping I did not fail.
