Do I Know You?

by Brittney Follett   Feb 27, 2007

I see you everyday.
But do I know you?
I'm with you all the time,
And know what you do.

I know all your secrets.
I know when you lie.
I'm staying with you,
Even until I die.

I know your fave color,
But do I know your heart?
Not knowing you will...
Eventually rip us apart.

I know your laugh,
I know your smile.
I'll sometimes hate you,
For a little while.

Some say you never change...
You're changing every year.
But the last time I saw you,
Was when I looked in the mirror.

I liked the twist at the end, as if you've been standing there while I was reading, talking to yourself in the mirror, lol ok maybe not exactly liked that. Anyway, I really didn't expect it. As always great flow too. & Kudos for you for being different lol, keep them wondering... great write. 5/5

Different is always good! :] I loved the twist in the ending. I, too, thought it was about someone you loved. I loved the title. It really captured me. It flowed really well, and had great meaning behind it!

    Beautiful, darlin'.
