Deep breaths
try to take it slow
Inhale, exhale
Think of other things.
Take your mind off of
that aching need
that pressure
that want, that thirst
that crazy, wild hunger
demanding to be fed.
Force yourself
back into reality
by remembering how alone
you really are
as you lay in bed
dreaming up a life
you'll probably never have
wishing you could see her
feel her, kiss her, taste her
and have her here,
like she's been yours all along.
Snap out of it,
make yourself remember.
Hug your pillow and
think of other things.
