Empty (free verse)

There are times when you feel
that everything you believed in
and everything you loved
is crumbling down upon you.
That you are helpless
and nothing or no one
can save you from the life that you live.
The pain and suffering you have
comes daily and you are lost
in a world of nothingness
What is to come of you?
Confusion takes over
and all that is left of you
is a scared little girl
in a world of emptiness.
